This pair of men’s underwear has been tossed into the corner of a high-traffic office stairwell. One may conclude that the garment was dropped accidentally, though we cannot know for sure. Perhaps the double meaning of “briefs” was the artist’s intention. In a rush to leave, a man has failed to maintain a grasp on his most personal belongings. Or perhaps this is a literal airing of his dirty laundry.
